So honored to have met her this summer, even though she very much wanted me to take my loud taking outside so she could eat in peace. I loved reading about your abuela! What a lovely memorial. My condolences for your loss. Filipino grandmothers have filthy mouths too! My grandmother smoked a cigar (she grew the tobacco and rolled them herself) and drank a cervesa every night and lived to be 98!
